just a note on this- when you download the push cert, there is installation instructions in a text file with it.
If you are using a Mac server and you follow these instructions to the letter, you will blow away your WHD install.
Docs say-
TO INSTALL:
(1) Stop Web Help Desk.
(2) Make a backup copy of the following file:
<WebHelpDesk>/bin/webapps/helpdesk/WEB-INF/Helpdesk.woa/Contents/Resources/PushNotificationProductionCertificate.p12
(3) Copy the "bin" folder from this hotfix to your <WebHelpDesk> folder and rewrite all files.
(4) Start Web Help Desk.
Docs SHOULD say-
TO INSTALL:
(1) Stop Web Help Desk.
(2) Make a backup copy of the following file:
<WebHelpDesk>/bin/webapps/helpdesk/WEB-INF/Helpdesk.woa/Contents/Resources/PushNotificationProductionCertificate.p12
(3) Copy the "'PushNotificationProductionCertificate.p12' from this hotfix to your
<WebHelpDesk>/bin/webapps/helpdesk/WEB-INF/Helpdesk.woa/Contents/Resources/
folder and overwrite the old file if asked. You did back it up, right?
(4) Start Web Help Desk.
