is there a way to insert (Now - KeepAlive) value in an alert?

${SQL:SELECT datediff(mi,  KeepAlive, getdate()) FROM Engines WHERE EngineID=${EngineID}}

Track it in a graph in Orion?

In SAM, you can create a template with a SQL User Experience Monitor and use the query

SELECT datediff(mi,  KeepAlive, getdate()) FROM Engines WHERE EngineID=1
