It had taken weeks and I’d just finished commissioning a new multiple machine-room office, loads of racks of routers, switches & servers and the transit packaging was broken down for removal. Some helpful person put it all out for the bin men to collect. It must have been like putting a garage sale sign outside and the following morning I found that one of the machine rooms had been stripped. The thieves did not seem to be interested in the servers, but they had tidily unpatched, de-installed and stole all of the Cisco kit.
Thankfully the new building had been incrementally added to Orion and the next day when the new kit arrived the configs were restored from NCM.
