Erik,
Ok... you said "If target page accepts username/password authentication, there should be authentication dialog popping up
in recorder where you can enter credentials of a user."
This is the behavior I am seeing when recording. However... Why doesn't the recorder allow a seamless SSO
if it is running as a user with all the necessary permissions to get to the requested website?
When bringing up the player to create the recording... the first thing we do is a shift-right click and select 'run as different user'
The player starts to come up and requests a login... which we provide as one of the 7 pool users.
At this point we expect the recorder to take on the rights of the user it is running under, but instead... we get prompted
for a user login when trying to navigate to a website. I then use the same login I used to start the player,
and I get to the website in the recorder.
Why doesn't the recorder allow a seamless SSO if it is running as a user with all the necessary permissions?
We dont want to be prompted for a login while doing the recording...
